  1. Retain date range when refreshing window

    When I refresh the browser window to see new entries, the date range goes back to default. I have to re-set it each time.

    I suggest you are able to also create the job names from the web that connects to the app. if it is only for back up purposes, I will not use the cloud. If I can type from my computer and send data to my mobile device. I

    Add an option to enter the work time that is required so that the user can track overage. I would like to keep track of my comp time that is earned.

  4. Optional second comment field

    for lawyers (and perhaps others?) it would be nice to be able to enter more complex details about the case in a second field for our own reference and not for billing.

  5. Under Preferences, add an ON/OFF toggle to allow export of separate daily entries for the same job.

    12/26/2013 The built-in default exports one sum total of hours for all entries for jobs performed on the same day, even if they are entered non-sequentially. The Preference could say this: "When Exporting entries, separate all daily entries for each job and display them separately. ON/OFF" The reason for this is in my consultancy, we charge different rates for different tasks and need to see the hours expended as associated with separate task entries. I can see the value when all tasks have the same billing rate. We've created a work-around, but this toggle would help a lot. (MJM user…

  6. Build in Invoicing

    Build in an invoicing feature and let us mark periods as "paid" so we don't have to delete old entries. Also, in the export, can you separate the time and date so when it is in excel, the time and date are two separate columns?

  7. Add to Cloud version Export options to set Friendly, CSV or None like on Mobile App

    In the export to E-mail inside the APP, you allow for Export Options that are very useful. Add these to online version here so I can export from computer and not my iPone.

  8. Make a way to archive jobs as they are completed, without losing the entry data

    First off, this tool is great. It saves me a lot of headache trying to remember my schedule. I use it now to track jobs by specific clients, of which I have 4-5. I want to use the tool to track individual jobs, the issue I am afraid of is having so many jobs in my list it makes it tough to find the one I am looking for. I tried deleting a job, and it deletes it from my web interface and entries. If there was a way to "archive" the job once it is completed so it didn't…

  9. be able to sort/filter hours by tags in online version

    It would be useful to be able to subtotal hours by pay period and also by tags on the online version. The only way that I can get a total of hours per tag for the same job in a single pay period is to export it to csv and filter it in Excel

  13. I recently reset my password and now I cannot access my account from my iPad

    I am able to access my hours-tracker cloud account on my MacBook Pro but not from my iPad.
    I try to use the Backup/Restore feature on the Hourstracker iPad app. I enter my user name and password that works fine for accessing my hourstrackercloud account from my MacBook Pro. However when I try from my iPad, I get an error message "Unable to verify your login at this time. Please try again." I have tried repeatedly, and I always get this message.   15. In the app, allow for client based time tracking instead of job based tracking.

    I am a consultant and I bill per client. I visit anywhere from 1 to 6 clients every day and work on lots of items. I bill for my time then type in the details of what I did. It is not project based most of the time so simply being able to select client and start the clock when I arrive would be great. This coincides with the online editing of client billable details.

  16. Allow online editing of Jobs and job details.

    Allowing for some manual editing of job details on the hours tracker website would make it much more functional. Those of us that have to give details on work preformed would much rather type it on a normal keyboard.

  17. Import clients from CSV file. We can export, but I need all 1500 of my clients entered by tax season.

    It is very time consuming trying to enter each client by hand and make sure they match my QuickBooks files exactly. If I could import the clients it would be exact and take very little time.

  20. One job, one device with multiple employees

    I run a small construction company and it would great to monitor several jobs simultaneously with multiple employees on each job.

    Using an iPad as a central docking unit with individual log in passwords for employees.
