  1. Cloud: quick select "Month to Date", "Week to Date"

    When viewing time entries: under "Select dates", there are three quick convenience links -- "Year to Date", "Last 12 months", and "2012".

    It would be great to have "Month to Date" (break down by weeks) and "This Week" (i.e. week to date, break down by days).

    Big miss to have functionality on phone thats not on the desktop.

  3. Allow data entry via web client

    If I'm going to pay ten bucks a year for the ability to cloud sync my HoursTracker information, I might as well be able to enter time tracking information into the web if I want.

  4. correct the sort order and let me pick week start day

    Hourstrackercloud.com doesn't list the days in the correct order and also won't let me start my week on a Saturday.

    When doing manual backups, the system keeps informing that there are too many and it will have to overwrite.


    1. Either just do it, or do it with a setting... ie, : Auto overwrite old backups.
      or

    2. I cannot find a function that allows to clear out old backups , even on the web page.

    I would clear the list if there were a way.

  7. expenses

    Need to Track Expenses, and have them accrue to a project. A simple date, descr, amount would work. Would be better to add a classification field so could add things like Milage (other requested that), Product purchases (I buy things for my clients all the time).

  9. import time that was exported into excel from another time tracking program

    I have been using another time recording application on my android tablet for almost 2 years and would like to be able to export that information into excel and then import it in to hours tracker.

  10. Make manual entry duration buttons editable.

    It would be nice to be able to edit default buttons. Instead of 8h or 9h which I never use to f. eks. 20 min. or 1,5h which are frequent jobb duration. Default buttons could remain if you added a couple buttons where jobb duration could be edited. That comes handy when you have periods with f. eks many 1,5 hour jobs and after some time most of your jobbs are 0,5 hour.

  11. Establish a Maximum hourly amount per day

    where we agree a maximum chargeable time for the day but are working for longer hours it would be useful to show the actual time worked and the time billed

  12. Allow us to log in increments of 5,10,15 and 30 minutes

    This would show rates to the nearest unit charged rather than the one hour rate.

  13. create a 'mileage' field so that I can record my mileage allowance for each journey / day worked.

    This will be particularly useful when I'm recording my voluntary hours as I don't receive hourly pay, however I do receive a mileage allowance so it would be a great way of me looking at my voluntary hours worked and the subsequent mileage allowance claimed.

    Currently HoursTracker only allows from start to finish but what if you took a break in between? Lunch break?

    I suggest that we can add $ into the web interface as pound currently would work so well with people from US or Australia or any other country that use $

  17. Show a Job Paid

    Perhaps this exists and I have not seen how to do it. I would like to have a place where we can flag an entry paid inside a job. Also have that flag be visible in the csv export from the website.

    The purpose for me, would allow me to continue to use my automated summary reports and generated invoices from that exported data. If I can get a 'paid' flag generated from the source csv, I could set a condition in the imports to ignore those entries, always keeping my summary and invoices current.

  18. Allow user to specify localization preference

    As an HoursTrackerCloud.com user, I would like the ability to specify my localization preference. If I don't specify one, it should default to my browser's setting (current behavior). I would make this selection in a user settings/preferences page when logged in.

  19. Having a check box on an entry for what ever the user wants - in my case - I have transferred it to my invoicing system.

    I normally use a task management system until I took the leap and started using this for 2 days now. GREAT TOOL (Can't believe how ingenious this is). If you add a check box, then it would grey (preferable) or hide checked items so I know i have entered them into my invoice database which I have made. This could be quickbooks for other people. This way I can enter everything by day and know i have taken care of everything, then my invoice tool organizes in a different way and I can use Quickbooks to invoice from there. Adding…

  20. Make printing a full page of data from the web page possible!

    Using a Mac running OS version 10.6.8, I can't seem to get all of the info from one of my jobs to be printable. All that I get is a truncated copy with incomplete info. :>(
