I used to work on a place that did this. It was a gimmick to make employees believe they had Sundays off. When in fact we were working all 7 days of the week. Starting on Sunday 6 PM and ending on Saturday 6 AM.

And the company had the audacity to say that we didn’t worked on weekends.

The worst shift anyone can ever work. Saturday you would be sleeping all day, but if you decide to stay up to enjoy your Saturday, then going to bed would have you waking up late on Sunday which leave you with very little spare hours as Monday shift started on Sunday 6 PM.

But if you decide to sleep all Saturday, then you would be awake in between Saturday night and Sunday 12 AM to 7/8 AM. And be sleepy again all day Sunday. Horrible shift! Wont ever do it again.

It was a fresh produce job.

The only “good” thing was the 80 hours check every 2 weeks at $20 per hour plus 16 hours of over time at $30 per hour. However, still not even a $55,000 a year job.
