  1. Overtime option for specific hours, premium hours

    I want an overtime option that will calculate a different pay rate or double time pay for (example) time logged between midnight and 7am. Or if I work Sunday's.

    I have straight time, time and a half after 8 hours and double time after midnight. It is difficult and time-consuming to enter in separate hours and pay rate in the app for one day of work.

  2. when exporting, show the deductions in the print out.

    when exporting files, have tax deductions as an option or just automatic in the print out.

  4. prepaid hours

    I have my customers purchase a block of prepaid hours at a better rate than hour by hour. However I would like to enter the prepaid hours into the app and have it one me when I am either getting close to using up the prepaid hours or have already used up the prepaid hours so I can bill the customer for another block of hours, in blocks of 25, 50, or 100 hours

  6. create a 'mileage' field so that I can record my mileage allowance for each journey / day worked.

    This will be particularly useful when I'm recording my voluntary hours as I don't receive hourly pay, however I do receive a mileage allowance so it would be a great way of me looking at my voluntary hours worked and the subsequent mileage allowance claimed.

  7. Show a Job Paid

    Perhaps this exists and I have not seen how to do it. I would like to have a place where we can flag an entry paid inside a job. Also have that flag be visible in the csv export from the website.

    The purpose for me, would allow me to continue to use my automated summary reports and generated invoices from that exported data. If I can get a 'paid' flag generated from the source csv, I could set a condition in the imports to ignore those entries, always keeping my summary and invoices current.

  8. Consolidate time sheets of multiple users when working on same project

    I run a small consulting company and have used hourstracker for a couple of years. It is a great app and I'm enjoying the new tagging feature.

    I have a number of consultants working with me and currently need to align everyone's time sheets manually to do billing. I would sign us all up for hourstrackercloud in a heartbeat if I could get a unified report from all the consultants. Each consultant would keep their own hours and the cloud would enable them to be added together to create one report.

  10. Enable rotation for use with iPad.

    I was sad to see HourTrackerHD was discontinued and won't work under iOS 11. So I recently bought the Pro version for iPhone. While not intended for use with the iPad, it works very well with the iPad. But it would work even better if you enabled rotation.

  11. Automated data syncing between multiple devices

    First of all, I would like to say that this app is fantastic - it suits my needs perfectly!

    I think the ability to automatically sync data between devices would be a great feature. I use both my iphone and ipad for entries and it makes it difficult having to backup/restore between every entry.

  12. Give a Benefit Plan rate

    My contracts have benefit plan contributions that I would like to track, in addition to my pay. I would love to be able to add that a job has various extra things at a percentage of the pay rate, or a flat hourly contribution with a max cap.

  15. Being able to use the net fee instead

    In Sweden everyone talk in net. So it would be more logical for me/us to add the net sum and then enter the tax on that. The way it is now it adds an extra step.

    So if the fee is 100 and the tax 25% I now have to calculate this to be 125 and the tax 20%.

    I understand if this is a nice to have. It is just more logical from our perspective.

  16. Create an iCal subscription for all my entries

    I plan my schedule using iCal and record my actual actions using HoursTracker. In order to easily compare planing vs. doing, create a way in which I can view all my entries in iCal. Thanks!!

  17. Create a webAPI

    So others could create widgets, or even internet connected devices (arduino) that could handle clocking in/out. Or ultimately replace expensive and antiquated physical time clocks. My wife would thank me for this.

  18. weekly overages

    I would like to see how far over my weekly allotted time I am. Instead of taking overtime for one week, I flex my hours to the next week so that I don't have to work as much. For example, if I work 26 hours at one job (my allotted hours are 20 for each job per week) in week one, then week two I can leave 6 hours earlier to make up for that overtime. I would love to be able to easily see this overage on the app.

  19. Make a way to organize, and hide previously worked on projects.

    Right now, any projects I have worked on and have completed stay in the same list. If this info all stays there, eventually its going to be chaos with 50 some projects, most of which are done. I don't want to delete these projects but I want to only see the ones I am working on.

  20. Ability to filter jobs for a report of work mix AND List the Percentage again next to the Jobs in the pie chart under the Job view in cloud

    Consider listing the Percentage again next to the Jobs in the pie chart under the Job view in the cloud. This would allow that pie chart to be used as a report, but now, it is unclear which pie slice refer to which when you have more than 10 jobs to look at. Hard to read the chart without this feature.
    It would also be great to see the month and week views be able to filter for which jobs to look at over time on a weekly or monthly basis. To see which work items increase or decrease over…
